Your Responsibilities as a Partner:  

 

  • Accuracy is Key : All photos and materials submitted must accurately represent the property.  
  • Ready for Rent : Ensure that the unit is ready for occupancy, clean, well-maintained, and inviting.  
  • Communication During Issues : If a problem arises with the unit during a viewing, we strongly advise that the listing agent contacts us directly to resolve it swiftly.  
  • Keep Listings Current : Always update the availability status of your listings. Rented or sold units should be promptly labeled as such.  
  • Client Support : Provide full assistance to rental clients, addressing any concerns throughout their stay, and ensure they are supported until they move out.  
  • Fair Handling of Security Deposits : Direct Owners must return security deposits as per the agreed terms, ensuring transparency and trust and listing agents must ensure that owners will do the same.

Traditional Commission vs. Rentma8’s Approach  

In the traditional rental market, the commission structure typically involves a 50/50 split between the listing owner and the agent who brought in the client. This means that if a client is secured, half of the commission goes to the listing owner, and the other half goes to the agent. While this is standard practice, it often means that both parties must invest heavily in marketing and client acquisition efforts to make the deal worthwhile.  

 

With Rentma8, we’ve streamlined this process to make it more efficient and cost-effective for you. Our commission rates are much lower than the traditional 50/50 split, allowing you to retain a larger portion of your earnings. We handle all the marketing and client acquisition through our extensive network of international and local partners, freeing you from the burden of these tasks. This means you can focus on what you do best—managing your properties and closing deals—while we bring the clients directly to you.  

 

Rentma8 Commission Structure  

At Rentma8, we’ve designed our commission structure to be transparent, fair, and aligned with your success. All clients referred by our third-party partner companies are considered direct clients of Rentma8. This means that while our partners play a crucial role in promoting your listings, Rentma8 manages the bookings, ensuring a seamless rental experience for both the client and the property owner or listing agent.  

 

To maintain this level of service and to continue providing valuable leads, Rentma8 collects a  small portion of the commission earned from these bookings . Specifically, we charge:  

 

20% Commission on Daily Rentals (6 months and below) : For short-term or daily rentals, Rentma8 retains 20% of the commission that you, as the listing agent receive. This ensures that we can continue to provide a steady stream of clients while you keep the majority of your earnings.  

 

30% Commission on Long-Term Rentals (above 6 months) : For long-term rentals, which are defined as contracts lasting a minimum of 6 months, Rentma8 collects 30% from the listing agent commission. This rate is still highly competitive, considering the extended duration of the rental and the ongoing support and marketing provided by Rentma8.  

 

For direct property owners, our system is designed to offer a straightforward and cost-effective approach to commissions. Unlike the traditional commissioning structure, where owners might give up to 50% or even 100% of the rental income for long-term tenants, and around 10% for daily rates, Rentma8’s model is far more owner-friendly. We only take a portion of the commission, mirroring the same breakdown as with agents: 20% on daily rentals and 30% for long-term rentals (minimum of 6 months). This means you retain more of your earnings while still benefiting from our comprehensive marketing and booking services. By partnering with Rentma8, you get the best of both worlds, professional promotion and client acquisition, with a minimal impact on your profits.
